iPhone patch

I read with wry amusement that a vulnerability in the Apple iPhone has been discovered that allows remote application deployment and possible root access to the phone allowing personal data to be compromised.
I wonder if this will make it into a new Apple TV commercial , it throws sand in the face of their hilarious one about all the PC viruses...

Writers of viruses will go after anything that's popular whether it's a PC, an iPhone, or a garage door opener. The largest threat seems to be the amount of collective free time they have on their hands. It is a shame their time, talent, and determination cannot be harnessed and used for good (like the fight to cure cancer).
